YepBit has received an official investment fraud warning from Ghana’s Securities and Exchange Commission (Ghana SEC). The alert was published on July 15, 2026.
The Ghana SEC warned the public about a suspected fraudulent investment scheme operating under the names YEPBIT EXCHANGE and BONCHAT. The scheme solicits investments from the public, including through digital and crypto-asset platforms.
YEPBIT EXCHANGE and BONCHAT are not licensed by the Ghana SEC.
YepBit operates as a classic “click a button” app Ponzi scheme. BehindMLM reports that Chinese scammers run the operation. BonChat serves as a Telegram substitute. Scammers use it to coordinate communication with investors.
BehindMLM has documented hundreds of similar “click a button” app scams since they first appeared in 2021.

At the time of publication, known YepBit-related domains include:
Part of YepBit’s promotion involves a claimed partnership with Fidelity Capital Investment Group (FCIG). FCIG is a fake investment firm. The same scammers behind YepBit also run FCIG.
Official marketing materials name Jonathan Brook as FCIG’s CEO. Brook does not exist. Evidence suggests the name and persona are AI-generated.
Outside Ghana, Australia issued a YepBit securities fraud warning in May 2026.
The Philippine SEC released a YepBit securities fraud warning on January 26, 2026. It followed with a cease and desist order on February 4, 2026.
On July 22, 2026, Ghana’s SEC also included YepBit in a list of twenty-three entities accused of securities fraud. The same list featured BG Wealth Sharing, one of the larger “click a button” app Ponzis that recently collapsed.
