Robinhood Chain achieved a new high of $989 million in single-day DEX trading volume on Friday. Total value locked reached a record $708 million, nearly doubling month-over-month. Stablecoin supply on the chain also climbed to about $770 million, marking a 47% increase from the previous month.

Shift from Memecoins to Utility Tokens in August

July activity on Robinhood Chain focused heavily on memecoin trading, driven by the rise and later Robinhood listing of CASHCAT. In August, attention moved toward utility and infrastructure tokens. These projects now lead in both volume and market interest across the chain.

Launchpads and Tokenized Stock Pairs Drive Growth

PONS, a leading launchpad, saw its market cap jump from $20 million to over $200 million this month. LONG, another major launchpad, supports memecoins paired with tokenized stocks, a key feature of Robinhood Chain. The AI token, known as Artificial Inu and paired with tokenized NVDA, grew from a $1.5 million market cap on August 1 to a peak of $135 million. It now holds over $3.3 million in liquidity in its NVDA pool. Memecoins paired with tokenized stocks currently make up roughly one-quarter of all stock-linked trading volume.

Rising Utility Projects Expand the Ecosystem

Other utility-focused projects also posted strong gains. Delta, a liquidity-layer protocol, UP, a ve(3,3) emissions project, and NetNet, an OHM-style bonding platform, each increased their valuations by about 10 times during August. These developments highlight growing demand for practical applications on Robinhood Chain beyond pure memecoin speculation.
