Jason Cardiff forfeits his bail bond of $530,000.

Jason Cardiff’s bail has been forfeited due to his refusal to return to the United States.

Cardiff was released on a $530,000 bail after his arrest in November 2023.

Lilia Murphy’s property provided $500,000 to guarantee Cardiff’s bail, while Brian Kennedy contributed $30,000 in cash.

In their statements of assurance, Murphy and Kennedy acknowledged the repercussions of Cardiff breaking his release terms.

The court heard a motion on Cardiff forfeiting bond on March 11th, after the DOJ’s request last month.

On February 5, 2025, the Court issued an order that: (1) proclaimed the defendant a fugitive; (2) revoked the defendant’s trial date and the Speedy Trial Act’s tolling; and (3) issued an arrest warrant against the defendant, according to an order released later the same day.

The defendant has not yet returned to the United States and seems to be still in Ireland.

Cardiff has not shown up for a hearing and has broken his terms of freedom. For the former, forfeiture is necessary.

As a result, the court ORDERS the forfeiture of the $530,000 bail against the defendant, establishing Lilia Murphy’s $500,000 joint and multiple liability with the defendant, and Brian Kennedy’s $30,000 joint and shared liability with the defendant.

We know Cardiff (right) feels passionately about being a fugitive with an outstanding arrest warrant, but we don’t know whether he cares about other individuals losing nearly half a million dollars as a result of his conduct.

Cardiff threatened Google with legal action three weeks after a court order issued an arrest warrant and labeled him a fugitive.

I’m writing to officially request that a fake and defamatory website that is seriously harming my reputation be taken out of Google’s search index.

The claims that I have been “declared a fugitive” and that a “arrest warrant is pending” are among the false, deceptive, and defamatory assertions about me that can be found on this site.

These claims are completely untrue. I have never been considered a fugitive by a court, and there is no such legal conclusion.

Cardiff said on September 7, 2024, that it is utterly untrue to assume that I will “never come back.”

I will continue to fight this lawsuit through every move, so my legal struggle is far from done. Actually, I think I’ll win and the matter will be settled before the trial.

Cardiff’s present situation and whereabouts are unclear, save from the fact that he is a fugitive with an outstanding arrest warrant.
