Former RengaLife CEO Jason Cardiff has been arrested in Ireland, where he had been living since refusing to return to the United States in 2022.
According to reports, Irish authorities arrested Cardiff on June 24, 2026, at his €3 million home in Rathgar. His arrest comes while U.S. authorities continue efforts to extradite him to face criminal fraud charges.

Jason Cardiff co-founded RengaLife with his wife, Eunjung Cardiff, in 2018. The MLM company collapsed shortly after its launch.
Later that year, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed a lawsuit against Redwood Scientific Technologies, RengaLife’s parent company. The lawsuit accused Cardiff of making false health claims, operating unauthorized autoship programs, using abusive robocalls, and promoting misleading MLM income claims.
In 2022, the FTC won a default judgment against Cardiff and Redwood Scientific. However, no financial penalties were imposed due to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that limited the FTC’s authority to seek monetary relief.

In 2023, Cardiff was criminally charged with multiple fraud offenses related to Redwood Scientific and RengaLife.
During the legal proceedings, he requested permission three times to travel to Ireland for medical treatment. The court approved each request despite objections from the U.S. Department of Justice.
Before his final approved trip, Cardiff informed the court that he would not return to the United States. Court filings later revealed he claimed a gynecologist had advised him not to travel, a statement that drew significant attention during the investigation.
In February 2025, Cardiff was officially declared a fugitive, and a U.S. arrest warrant was issued the following month.

While living in Ireland, Cardiff remained active on social media, posting photos of luxury cars, ski vacations, golf outings, and expensive watches despite being a wanted fugitive.
His recent arrest marks a major development in the ongoing fraud case. U.S. authorities are now expected to pursue his extradition so he can stand trial on the outstanding criminal charges related to RengaLife and Redwood Scientific Technologies
