FTX has announced it will distribute approximately $900 million to creditors in its fifth major payout wave. The payments are set to begin at the end of July 2026.
Eligible creditors can expect to receive their funds within three business days, starting from July 31.
Distributions will be handled by BitGo, Kraken, or Payoneer. This follows the same process used in previous payouts.
This fifth distribution comes after a $2.2 billion payout in March 2026.
Since repayments began in 2025, FTX’s bankruptcy estate has now distributed nearly $10 billion to creditors and claimants. The company continues to make steady progress in resolving its Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The payouts cover two main groups under FTX’s bankruptcy plan:
FTX has generally repaid retail creditors between 118% and 142% of the value of their holdings at the time of the exchange’s collapse in 2022. However, the company has faced criticism for not returning assets in their original form (in-kind).
