On March 10, there were many disruptions on the social networking platform X, making it difficult for users to access the website.
On March 10, Elon Musk, the owner of the social networking platform X, acknowledged that a “massive cyberattack” had attacked the site, preventing some users from accessing it.
“This was carried out with a lot of resources, but we are assaulted every day. Either a nation or a sizable, well-coordinated organization is involved,” Musk stated.
Musk hinted that the attack was still going on even if user functionality was promptly restored.
According to Downdetector, there were over 33,000 reports of X outages on March 10 at the time of writing.
After a social media user described a string of attacks against the entrepreneur’s interests, including destruction of Tesla outlets and rallies against the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk acknowledged the cyberattack.
