Christophe Verschueren, founder and CEO of Opportunity Safe Experience (OSE), has been arrested in Belgium.
Belgian authorities arrested Verschueren after a raid on his home in Charleroi on May 22, 2026. He was later presented before a judge facing charges of investment fraud and money laundering.

OSE operated as a Dubai-based Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Ponzi scheme. The company promised investors 12% annual returns on what it claimed was a licensed asset management fund.
To appear legitimate in Europe, OSE used a shell company registered in Prague, Czechia, under the name Opportunity Safe Experience
Belgian authorities estimate investor losses at around €800,000. Most of the funds were allegedly laundered through Dubai and remain unaccounted for.
During the Charleroi raid, police made significant seizures, but details of the seized items have not been released.
The case is still active. Authorities are working across borders to trace the missing money and hold those responsible accountable. This arrest highlights increased scrutiny on fraudulent high-yield investment schemes in Europe.
