Hunter Biden Reveals LAPTOP Memecoin Tokenomics and Launch Plans

Hunter Biden has shared full details of his LAPTOP memecoin ahead of its launch on Base Layer 2. The token aims to stand for resilience, redemption, and recovery. Biden said political opponents and media turned his laptop into a weapon, so he is turning it into a token instead. The total supply is set at 1 billion tokens.
Airdrop Rules Favor TRUMP Losers and Substack Fans
Twenty percent of the supply will go to the community through airdrops. At the token generation event, 10 percent unlocks via the Phoenix Veritas Foundation claim portal. The remaining 10 percent will drop later at the foundation’s discretion. Eligible groups include people who lost money on Donald Trump’s TRUMP memecoin (2 percent share) and subscribers of Biden’s “Where’s Hunter?” Substack (8 percent share).
Burn-or-Charity Mechanism Tied to Real-World Events
Another 30 percent of tokens links to 30 public events, many tracked on Polymarket. Examples include possible Trump impeachment or Democrats winning the House or Senate in 2026. If an event happens, that token slice burns. If it fails, the tokens go to charity. An extra 50 million tokens are already pledged to charity no matter the outcomes.
Founders, including Hunter Biden, receive 30 percent subject to a six-month lock-up and 24-month vesting. Liquidity gets 10 percent, while the foundation treasury holds 5 percent for operations. Biden stressed that no one should expect the team to drive the token’s price higher. He also criticized Trump’s memecoin for causing heavy losses for nearly one million holders.
