U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs recorded a combined $2.6 billion in net inflows last week. This marked their strongest weekly performance since October 2025, based on The Block’s analysis of SoSoValue data.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs brought in $1.9 billion. Spot Ether ETFs attracted $697.2 million. Both categories posted their largest weekly inflows of 2026 so far.

These gains reversed a combined $392 million outflow from the previous week. The shift created a week-over-week swing of roughly $3 billion. The total also more than doubled the $1.1 billion combined inflow from the week ending August 7.

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Reach Highest Level Since October

The $1.9 billion inflow into U.S. Bitcoin ETFs was the largest weekly total since the week ending October 10, 2025. That earlier period saw $2.7 billion in net inflows. Cumulative net inflows since the Bitcoin ETFs launched now stand at $53.7 billion.

Trading volume rose sharply to $22.1 billion from $6.9 billion the week before. This represented an increase of more than 219%. Combined net assets under management climbed 25.4% to $96.1 billion from $76.6 billion. The growth reflected both new inflows and Bitcoin’s price rise.

Much of the activity happened during the market rally on Wednesday and Thursday. The funds drew $517.2 million on Wednesday, their biggest daily inflow since May 4. Thursday added another $606.3 million, with $503 million flowing into BlackRock’s IBIT.

Ether ETFs Post Best Week Since Last October

Spot Ether ETFs also delivered their strongest weekly inflows since October. The $697.2 million total was the highest since the week ending October 3, 2025, when nearly $1.3 billion entered the funds.

The Ether ETFs had recorded a small $2.3 million net outflow the week before last. Cumulative net inflows since launch now total $12.2 billion.

Weekly trading volume jumped to $6.9 billion from $1.9 billion, a 259.4% increase. Net assets rose 35.9% to $14.3 billion from $10.5 billion.

Ether ETF net assets now exceed cumulative net inflows by about $2.1 billion. Two weeks earlier, assets sat roughly $711 million below cumulative inflows. The turnaround mainly came from Ether’s price gains plus the new capital.

Crypto Market Rally Supports Strong ETF Flows

The ETF inflows aligned with a broad crypto market rally. Bitcoin briefly traded above $79,000 on Friday during its largest weekly gain in two years. Both Bitcoin and Ether rose between 24% and 28% for the week.

Bitcoin traded near $77,200 on Saturday afternoon. Ether changed hands around $2,423.

Despite the strong week, the products still show year-to-date losses. Bitcoin ETFs have seen about $2.9 billion in net outflows for 2026. Ether ETFs are down roughly $191.8 million. The latest inflows cut the combined year-to-date deficit from $5.7 billion to $3.1 billion.
