German financial publication Diebewertung has reported that one of its journalists was the victim of an alleged arson attack. The incident has raised fresh concerns as authorities continue investigating TGI AG and its activities across Europe.

Diebewertung Reporter Allegedly Targeted

According to a report published by Diebewertung on July 1, 2026, one of its reporters was targeted in an alleged arson attack.

The publication stated that the suspect reportedly left the scene saying, “Greetings from TGI.”

Authorities have not released detailed information because the case is under investigation by the Leipzig Police and the Leipzig Criminal Investigation Department (KDD).

Despite the incident, Diebewertung stated that it will continue its reporting and will not be intimidated.

TGI AG Has Not Publicly Responded

Diebewertung claims it contacted TGI AG’s legal representatives regarding the incident.

As of now, the company has not issued any public statement addressing the alleged attack or denying the reported claims.

Regulatory Pressure Continues to Increase

BaFin's order represents another significant regulatory action against TGI AG and strengthens investor protection efforts in Germany. While German authorities have ordered refunds for affected investors, investigations into the company's activities continue. Austrian and Liechtenstein regulators are also monitoring the case as scrutiny surrounding TGI AG increases.

TGI AG has faced growing regulatory action across several European countries.

The company is led by Austrian national Helmut Kaltenegger, who operates the business from Austria.

During April 2026, financial regulators in Austria and Liechtenstein issued public warnings related to TGI AG. Authorities in Liechtenstein later carried out a raid on the company’s local offices.

In Germany, BaFin prohibited TGI AG from offering investment products on April 20, 2026. On June 19, 2026, the regulator also ordered the company to refund all German investors.

Dubai Registration Follows Regulatory Actions

Following the regulatory warnings and office raids, Helmut Kaltenegger registered TGI International L.L.C-FX in Dubai.

Despite the increasing scrutiny, TGI AG continues to attract promoters, particularly in Germany and Austria.

Website Traffic Shows Declining Interest

Public traffic data indicated that TGI AG’s website received approximately 78,000 monthly visits during June 2026.

This represented a 24% decline compared to the previous month.

Most visitors came from:

  • Germany (74%)

  • Austria (22%)

The declining traffic may reflect growing public awareness and regulatory concerns surrounding the company.

SK Austria Klagenfurt Extends Sponsorship

On July 6, 2026, Austrian football club SK Austria Klagenfurt announced that TGI AG would continue as the club’s main sponsor.

Vice President Zeljko Karajica thanked Helmut Kaltenegger for supporting the club during difficult periods. He also said the renewed partnership would strengthen the men’s team, women’s football, and youth development.

Helmut Kaltenegger also serves on the club’s board, making the sponsorship renewal notable.

Ongoing Scrutiny Remains

TGI AG continues to face regulatory investigations and increasing public attention across Europe.

Authorities have not publicly linked the alleged arson attack to the company, and the investigation remains ongoing. Likewise, allegations regarding the movement of investor funds through the football club have not been proven in court.

Until official findings are released, these matters remain under investigation, and no criminal responsibility has been legally established.
