IG Europe has partnered with Bitpanda to strengthen its digital asset services across the European Union. The company said the decision was driven by growing customer demand for trusted crypto investment options.
IG Europe Managing Director Esteve Jane stated that the partnership will give experienced investors access to a broader range of digital assets. He added that clients are increasingly looking for crypto exposure through regulated and secure platforms they already trust.
Parent company IG Group has recently increased its focus on cryptocurrency services. The firm acquired Australian crypto exchange Independent Reserve and secured a MiCA license, allowing it to offer crypto products across the European Union.
The company also sold its futures trading platform, Small Exchange Inc, to Kraken as part of a broader collaboration in the crypto sector.
Bitpanda has continued expanding its services in recent months, including launching operations in the United Kingdom and adding support for thousands of equities and ETFs. Founded in 2014, the exchange reported more than 7.4 million users by the end of 2025 and is reportedly considering a public listing this year.
