Forcount’s Antonia Hernandez sentenced to 30 months

Forcount Antonia Perez Hernandez, a Ponzi fraudster, received a 30-month jail term.

Hernandez (right) was sentenced to two and a half years in jail and forced to pay $231,709.

Hernandez will turn herself in to the Bureau of Prisons by April 27th in order to start her sentence as part of the January 28th decision.

In late 2017, the cryptocurrency mining scam known as Forcount was introduced. It was a component of Francis Da Silva’s broader Ponzi scheme, which was worth $800 million.

Hernandez, a prominent Forcount marketer, was charged with many crimes in December 2022.

In August 2024, Hernandez entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to conduct wire fraud.

Other Forcount suspects who were sentenced to jail include:

  • In October 2024, Juan Tacuri will receive 20 years; and

  • In November 2024, Nestor Nunez will receive four years.

Around the time of his indictment in 2022, Francis Da Silva was taken into custody in Brazil. Since then, Silva’s condition has not been updated.
